1. Basket is full of air vents so roots can breathe and so that you can easily leach out salts quickly.
2. Basket is flat on the bottom.  If you feel you might have over watered you can sit the basket in open air to dry the root ball.
3. Water capacity on the two larger sizes is twice that of the popular Oyama Pots.  Fill once a week.
4. Matte white pot is semi-translucent so you can see light through it to tell your water level.
5. Black basket is glossy for ease of cleaning and has a wide lip which allows it to be picked up easily when filling the reservoir. Tiny ridges under lip aid in air flow inside pot.
6. Each pot comes with it’s own wick so your ready to plant and enjoy.

Although these pots were developed for Streps, many have found that they work equally well for Violets, Gardenias, Orchids, Holiday Cactus, and many Gesneriads as well.

Note: The lip on the basket is in no way intended to support a violet, such as with actual violet supports that extend out past the pot. Therefore they should be allowed into any competition. The basket stops at the edge of the pot itself and is NOT a support feature.
